• Is Route4Gas a broker?
  No. A broker arranges trades between different customers. He does the deal execution knowing about his clients; identities (no anonymity). The Route4Gas App matches different clients and gives only trade advice to their respective counterparts. The counterparts then close the trade accordingly (OTC trade). So Route4Gas is not a broker and has no insight into any details of any trades.
• Is the service that Route4Gas delivers covered by regulatory obligations such as REMIT or MiFID II?
  The optimization service offered by Route4Gas is down to physical spot markets. MiFID II doesn't apply to physical spot markets, so it does not here. Nevertheless, Route4Gas has created a Market Abuse prevention procedure in line with REMIT requirements. As Route4Gas only gives trade advice, and the client has to execute the resulting deal as an OTC trade, the respective client does the REMIT reporting. Route4Gas stays out of this reporting, meaning anonymity is guaranteed.
• How can I register and what happens afterwards?
  To use the Route4Gas service, you need to register on our website. You find the registration form in the top menu on the right (below the log-in button). Click the button "Register", fill out the form and send it. You will receive an email with a password setup link. Further questions can be answered individually via the Enquiry Form on our web page.
• What about security in the Route4Gas system?
  On the 22 August 2019, the Bureau Veritas certified Route4Gas with the ISO/IEC 27001:2013, following successful completion of an audit. ISO 27001 is a specification for an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS provides a framework for information security management best practice to protect client and employee information and make sensitive data remain secure. It preserves data confidentiality, integrity, and availability by applying a risk management process. As a requirement of the ISO 27001 audit, IT systems must be kept up to date, along with the anti-virus protection and any applications on machines. With implementing ISMS compliant with ISO 27001, Route4Gas has taken one more essential step to prevent data from falling into the wrong hands.
• Do I need admin rights to install the app?
  No, you can install the R4G app without admin rights.
• How do I integrate the R4G app into my software environment?
  We can integrate our service data to your environment via APIs. We develop APIs that fit to your demands, so you can get the best integration you can imagine.
